I did not use the link above, rather I just signed in to Chase dot com and went to my Freedom account. 5% categories I had to activate were gas stations, EV charging stations, select entertainment, and movie theaters. Had no special offers under my prime account, just the standard everyday Amazon, grocery, etc.

What you signed up for is different from what the OP shared. You signed up for Chase Freedom Q3 categories.

Worked on my Prime however I can't figure out how to validate it was this promotion. I guess I'll use at a restaurant and check to see... unless someone knows a place to check the specifics on your activate offers

Those are the Q3 offers for Chase Freedom. The offer in this thread is apparently for Chase Amazon Prime only but there is no indication of it in my account. I was able to successfully activate it for my Prime card so I'll need to confirm it's working when I make purchases in gas, grocery, and restaurant categories.
