This website is so corrupt. I posted this deal, what, last week or so, and in a week it got no thumbs up. How long does a staff get 10 thumbs up? I wonder what percentage of the deals on the website are fake/paid. 75%? More?

I suppose nobody is surprised. I still keep coming back, but I mostly use it for general pricing information and stay away from taking it seriously.

When using a gas powered string trimmer, it's often not powerful enough to cut through the thick weeds. I can't imagine how bad it is using an electric one...

It's called lawn maintenance. If you need to clear-cut a field, this isn't for you. Mine worked fine for removing weeds and keeping them in check for a few years until I went to a nicer Ryobi model.
I would argue to get something a little more upscale in the Ryobi line vs this (the edge swivel is pretty pointless and causes this to have lousy balance that will annoy your back if you trim/edge a lot).
Having said that, this version does claim to have variable trigger speed (my version of this didn't) and if it's anything like mine, you can shove much larger string in it than it comes with. Pretty sure I used .080 for mine (maybe even larger) and that was a huge improvement.

Certainly understand your frustration! Is an element of luck as far as what deals gain traction. I've had a number of posts that were lower than prior deals that didn't go anywhere. Getting to popular is half the battle where it reaches more eyeballs.

Nope. Don't try to make this about me. I'm not disappointed about my deal not "gaining traction". It didn't gain traction because not a lot of people are interested in corded lawn equipment in an age where battery powered are most people's choice in that market. That's perfectly fine.

Staff post garbage deals and get fake likes. It's corrupt and misleading. This is just an obvious example like the 50-100 deals I've noticed before. There are probably 50-100 of these fake pushes that are happening on a weekly basis. It is what it is.

This was originally marked as sold out, so I reported it, but I refreshed five minutes later, and it was available again.

Greenworks is junk.

I bought one of their trimmers, the instructions didn't match the product, and it was missing a guard that their customer service wouldn't replace without requesting photos, then videos, and that still wasn't enough.

Luckily this is corded, their batteries last 15 minutes.

Everyone knows that by now, and if you comment on their post as shill they will delete it. It's a business now and less of a community

Is it worth a buy if it sold regularly for $23 a few years ago and a 10 amp one for $26?
