Seems like a pretty good deal, just be aware that the normal price on Amazon is about $24, not the $42 that they're advertising.

Description says:
These bits fit into standard 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch chucks. This set includes 3/16-x-6-1/2-inch, 1/4-x-4-inch, 1/4-x-6-inch, 3/8-x-6-inch, and 1/2-x-6-inch bits.

That seems off. SDS bits don't fit in regular drill chucks.

Are these SDS Plus or SDS Max? Description says SDS Max but the heading says SDS Plus.

Based on part # they should be SDS Plus, you can always return if they're not too.

if the chuck is big enough, it could probably be tightened around the bit.

I have used SDS bits in a battery hammer drill plenty of times. It will work.

This IS SDS+. Based on that part # search at Home Depot and ACE. I believe Amazon has it wrong.

These are SDS plus. SDS max minimum hole size is around 1/2.

No it can't it's not a chuck that tightens . It's a special chuck that allows movement of the bit.

I told my wife I'd hide an Ethernet cable into the attic. It crosses from the main house to the addition. Do folks think this bit will be good enough to get through the cinder block partition? Seems like it'll just eek it out length wise based on standard 8" cinder width, but I'm not sure if I should get something longer to be sure.

If you're pulling the cable through the block, this should allow you to drill from both sides. Cinder blocks aren't usually solid, only need 1" or so of bit to get through on each side I would guess.
