8gb onboard RAM and I put a 16gb in the extra slot. For 24gb. 1tb Nvme. Have not tried larger but for under 300$ for a usable travel laptop is not bad.

Don't listen to this person. This laptop will easily handle web browsing, office software, even some light photo or video editing. 8GB RAM is basically the bare minimum these days, but it will serve you just fine. They're equating this laptop to the 4GB Celeron e-waste that typically comes with S Mode, but this thing is leagues better than those.

And yes, you can disable S-Mode just fine, but Edge is as good as chrome at this point, although Microsoft gradually keeps enshittifying it so I get why you'd stick with the data-hungry megacorp you know.

No, the USB-C port supports data transfer only. No PD/DP functionality.

TN panel!
I wouldn't mind to pay $50 extra for a IPS display.
But at $200, this is a fairly good option for those with a very limited budget, especially if you usually connect it to an external monitor when use.

I don't even need to look at the spec to tell you it's a no. It's a $200 bottom of the barrel laptop.
