For those with t-mobile, there may be a better option. You can trade in any working iPhone from the 5 to the XR and get a new iPhone 13 for $315. We traded in two original SE (worth nothing) for two iPhone 13. If you buy them at Costco, you get a $100 shop card and no activation fee. My oldest wanted a new battery for her iPhone 12, which was at 86% of original strength. It was cheaper to buy her the 13 and sell her phone than to buy a new battery. In fact, it was almost break even.
The other new phone was for my dad. He did well, too. T-Mobile had just given him a new iPhone SE 3rd gen because he was using a XR that doesn't support 5G. They let him keep the XR. We sold his XR and his almost new SE, so he was almost break even going to a new 13. We are just out two worthless iPhones we had sitting in a drawer.
Doesn't apply to everyone, especially those that are already saving money on older plans. You need to be on the new plans.

Another thing is that T-Mobile will now lock you like a "contract" for a discounted phone. Before you could pay off a phone and still receive the credits to the main account, now if you pay it all, credits will stop.

I've had my Apple Watch since the 3. So about 6 years. Maybe buying one new will give you more bang for your buck

That's exactly what it is.
And they're not even authorized to sell this junk or maybe they don't need to be.
To me it's like buying from a street vender.

Be carefully regarding the reputation of the company. The warranty is provided by Kiss Electronics NYC. They have already closed their retail store and when the retail store was open they provided horrible after sale support as you can see from their Yelp review.

"Batteries are tested to function at minimum 80% capacity."

My Watch just fell below 80%. When I check battery health in settings, it tells me my watch needs service.

I don't know if it REALLY needs a new battery ($99 plus shipping for my model) but if so, and if that's typical, figure needing to replace the battery on these refurbs sooner rather than later.

Is that the right way to look at it?

That's not a bad price but you have to deal with T-mobile bill credits. Fine for T-mobile postpaid who know they'll stick with them the next 2 years, but I try to avoid bill credits when I can because it's essentially just another form of a contract
Exactly and the markup on the plans are outrageous. If you trade a phone in you are basically required to get the magenta plan and pay sky high each month. Been there done that. 10gb is WAY more than I need in data. I'm good with just 1GB / unlimited call/text at $10/mo on their prepaid plan.

personally i feel, stay away from apple watch refurbished. they are very sensiitve and should buy brand new to get the actual benefits of the apple watch. we do not know how those watches were physically handled, etc.. the glass may come out in quick time if they submerge many times in water sports etc..

you may get watch as functional, but never knew will it shows real/actuals or messed up due to improper use by the previous owner.

I had a friend who bought it like that, the glass screen peel off, so he was spent $40 at local store to get the glue re-applied. not sure how long it can stick ?

not saying do not buy, but be ready to have something wrong/un expected.
I've had no issues with my Apple Watch s6 ss bought a few years ago from them. I also bought my s6 from eBay for 40% off when the s6 was the current version. Buying a brand new Apple Watch seems like a bad purchase when you can instantly get savings on them.

The 13 Mini price isn't awful, around the same as eBay but the two year warranty from a reputable retailer helps.
I am usually a WOOT fanboy (going back to the days they shipped wine) however I bit on the 13 mini deal a couple weeks back for the refurb. I was shocked how trashed it was. It was chipped all around the screen edges to the extent I cut my finger taking it out of the bubble wrap. Camera lens was scrached too. Only positive is WOOT took it on return and gave me my money back. Maybe one missed quality control..who knows. I ended up buying from refurb from Amazon that were ironically coming from Woot for $20 more, I got a pristine refurb with 95% battery. I guess it is luck of the draw..

Does this work with Simple Choice? I have an old iPhone SE original laying around.

Avoid anything refurbished from Woot, especially phones. The grade A iPhone was all scratched up with 86% battery. Return is a pain as well.
