- A little loud/vibrates while in use
- 1:1 clean to dirty water usage. For $80 more, you can get 2:1
- 400 GPD is really slow. Again, for $80 more you get 600 GPD. Neither are particularly fast though.
Here's another option at $279: https://www.amazon.com/Waterdrop-...08746G2XX/
Filters are much much much cheaper on the under the sink tank systems. Another commenter said these filters are $90! I replace stage one a lot more often for only a couple of bucks per change, and the rest of the filters last a lot longer. Entire replacement sets might be $30, and the TDS are single digits.
I'd vote for the under the sink system with a tank, every day, at this price. I went with a "nuaqua" system with an extra stage to re-mineralize the water. Not in city water? I'd recommend an extra UV stage, too.
Just my two cents.

We use our water drop for drinking water and for any water required for cooking. We largely don't use our fridge filter. It's far more effective than a refrigerator filter in removing pfas, lead etc and will have more certifications for filtering. We've been very happy with ours, it's more expensive but we feel it's worth it esp with kids.

Yeah I realized the need for the outlet and the expensive replacement filters after I bought it.
Had this one (Old Reliable) at my previous house which doesn't require an outlet, and provided perfect water.
