I can't speak for titanium, but a co worker has the same model in titanium (I had the steel) and it's just set it and forget it. Sapphire never scratches and handsome piece. Of course, this was before the Apple watch got popular, so this pretty much negates the features of the citizen.
One thing to know, it's a real PIA to set this, you can't just unscrew the crown and set the hour and minute or date, it's an odd process you have to watch on youtube.
Also, chronograph, you have to pull out the crown, to go "chrono" mode and then you can activate it.
Also, time zones, it's good if you're in the USA with the 3 different time zones, but if you travel, I don't know how the hell you can adjust it.
Don't count on the signal to adjust your watch if you're not near colorado (I"m in Ft Lauderdale).
Lume is pretty decent for a chrono graph.
