I have the Gen1 stuff and they are great, except I would have loved the drawers. Sometimes you need something from the bottom of the stack, and removing three boxes of tools is a pain.

For some workers unstacking tool boxes to get to the tools in the bottom box can get old real fast. Drawer tool boxes or boxes with doors on the bottom make sense when rolling the boxes to a job site. Ridgid is the first to market options to deal with this problem. Ridgid drawer boxes are less expensive than the top competitors and this deal makes it even better.

So can you return the cart and keep the drawer at $35 off?
I think so, which surprised me but I really don't know. I guess if you already have the cart that's a even better deal.

are these promotions for all stores. or are promotions store dependent. I just went to my store and they didnt have stock and i didnt see the flyer and no one seemed to know anything including the ryobi people there. If i simply find a store with stock and scan both items will it work?
The promo has been active since last week. If you can find the pieces it should ring up correctly

Yes. The receipt states the return value is $67 on the 2 drawer and $33 on the wheels

I've used the Rigid stuff before, and if it were mostly for home use I would again. My problem came when I started needing to ship them cross country for projects, they just aren't as durable as the Milwaukee Pack Out system.

If I needed this for personal use though, this is a pretty solid set.

I've got a pretty full set for camping gear. Now I guess I'll start one for my actual tools.

I just bought the Ryobi set last night...
If I were you I would consider returning the Ryobi.
I have the Husky, Packout and Ridgid boxes. I tried the Ryobi Link and was very disappointed in the quality comparison.

It's ringing up online as either shipping or pick up in the store for me.

Thanks OP! Just grabbed a 3 drawer and the cart in Centerville OH. They weren't in the normal spot, they were setting up a display in the front of the store with the sale sign. There were a couple of 2 drawers also, because they were just starting to set up I think they have more of the 3s and they just hadn't been put out yet. FYI for anyone who was iffy on the 3 drawer like I was because of the small sections in the top drawer in the pictures, all of those dividers are removable. Came home and immediately opened everything and left it out in the sun, IMO the only bad thing about the Ridgid system is the initial smell is pretty powerful.
Milwaukee, Ridgid, Ryobi all made for same parent company others might use the same manufacturer as well..
They all smell like they were made from recycled ash trays.

My store didn't have any signage or anything, none of the employees knew. However at self checkout there was a 50 dollar adjustment. 15 off the cart and the rest off the box. I got the three drawer.

signage

Did you get enough dividers foor all drawers I picked mine up and it only seemed to have enough for 2 drawers
