The trade-in amounts for Samsung Book's previous versions are horrible. It's almost like Samsung wants to remind you that their stuff does not hold any value compared to Apple.

Does anyone know if the snapdragon version has any software limitations like the M1 had when it was initially released. I know it runs on Windows 11 but still does the processor make any limitations for any software?

If you factor in buying the iPad you're looking at maybe a 50-60$ savings over a similarly spec laptop

You're right, though I think the build quality and finish is a bit better than the average laptop in that price range.

The other core 7 laptop i was eyeing was the acer swift go for $650.

Thanks for sharing, but those are not close IMO as those processors are two years old at this point. The processor of this Samsung was released this year. But depending on use case, maybe one of those is a better fit for others!

why is ipad mini 2 (2013) worth more than ipad 5th gen(2017)? As always weird Samsung.
I would love to get rid of my 5th gen ipad for this laptop, hope they update the trade in value by tomorrow

I knew you were gonna keep moving the goalpost so I stopped looking further. But for the average person buying these mid range laptops they're very comparable for the price

This is a really weird deal. But my iPad mini 2 is just sitting around collecting dust so, I'm in! I kinda feel like even if you traded in a mini 1, 3, or 4.. they'd just accept it. Do they even check that closely? Best Buy has this laptop on sale for $650 now, so this is a pretty good deal.

I had to do store pick up and since my Best Buy store doesn't stock these, I'll have to wait for it to get to the store then pick it up - it's also odd that Samsung won't ship these directly to customers.
