I have this, or one very similar. The thing I dislike most is it takes FOREVER for oil or thick substances to get through the on/off valve. You also have to sit there and hold it elevated if you're using the flexible hose as it can't support weight. Finally, there's no good way to clean the inside of the flex hose so there's always residue from the last used liquid leftover.

Guess you don't work on cars much. :-) kidding aside, this would have been great when I did tranny, diff, xfer case oil changes on 4 vehicles during Covid. Great for topping off engine oil too so you know how much your 100K mile engines are eating.

Yeah that's why ppl that work on cars avoid these gimmicky funnels. Regular car funnel at $2 works perfectly fine and is much faster than this. The only fancy funnel worth the premium is the engine coolant no leak funnel that seals to the car when doing coolant flushes

I've been interested in this kind of funnel, but capacity is 1qt / 1 liter. I wouldn't have much use for this

Is anyone aware of a cap that screws on to the oil gallon jug and has a funnel attached to it? That will probably be more useful

I buy a 5 qt. Pour the extra in the funnel. Then pour all of the correct remains qts in a quick funnel for the engine oil. Then use this funnel to pour the extra clean oil back in the 5qt .

Does anyone know the product that's like this but a lot bigger?

I need something like this but bigger (and wider/more throughput) to dispense cat litter into a Litter Robot. I've thought about the funnels they use at post offices to dispense packing peanuts but have never been able to find something like that for sale to the general public.

Does anybody else have any other ideas?

Yep, I get the 5 gal pails and reload. Always looking for a better solution to funnel bulk litter. I am thinking about a plug that you can pop in near the bottom of the pail with a valve. I wonder if there is enough flow in which that would work as an ad-hoc movable dispenser solution.
