Pretty sweet deal actually. I am paying $30/month for us mobile unlimited for one line for my work phone but spectrum offers 100mbps home internet around me for $29.99 with 1 year free of unlimited mobile so I got the home internet and mobile line for the same price as the us mobile unlimited plan that I am cancelling now and traded in a 1st gen iphone se that no longer gets updates for $1005 trade in. Not too bad.

comes locked and unlocks after 60 days...must have service for the 60 days to unlock.

As has been mentioned here previously, spectrum has at times not unlocked phones correctly.. I did this deal last time with the Fold 5, and they were never unlocked correctly. I made numerous calls to CS, and they said they were unlocked on their end, but they just were not. I never got a resolution, so both are being traded into Samsung for Fold 6 phones now.

Same situation here with the same Z Fold 5 never been unlocked by Spectrum. They just don't want to deal with my phone anymore and intentionally hang up on me. I have reported this with BBB and still under investigation.
I don't know if I should trade in this phone for the Z Fold 6 by paying $642 including tax.
I am pretty much done with Fold phones any more because of the shitty trade in value. Well I guess I am using a $1800 android tablet. lol.

Did you activate eSIM or pSIM? I had trouble with unlocking eSIM activated S24, after changing to pSIM, called again and received unlocked message. Just go to store and get pSIM, hopefully that will work.

I was in the same boat but was able to unlock successfully after a month of phone calls, at least 6 calls to their CS. I believe the issue is their system and unlock process. The first time I called in to get the phone unlock, the agent just updated the phone status to unlock but forgot to push it through the network, I assume it is on different system. So the phone didn't get unlock even though their system says it is unlocked and any other agents after that couldn't figure out what was wrong until the last agent figured out the issue in few minutes and push the unlock through the network. I got the unlock notifcation on my phone instantly when she did it.

Did everyone get trade-in email and shipping label instantly? That was my experience in the past. but this time, i still haven't received trade-in email with label after 20 min.
