WTF? I bought the SAME product and SAME flavor on July 9th (it is scheduled to arrive 6 days later with super-fast Prime 6 day shipping !) So why can't they ship this SAME product to me today?

I assume they are trying to move old inventory and / or clear out stock in general. Shipping is probably based on your location vs their closest warehouse with old stock. The fact it has the (very soon) expiration date listed suggests this isn't a companywide price

I too cannot order any any at $7.79 but can if I choose another seller (still Amazon mind you) the ones that don't have the expiration reg flagged as "This item will expire on 8/13/24" are available to order at full price.

one of their warehouses has a bunch of expiring stock so you can only get this price if you live near this warehouse... it's not an item wide discount

Do these taste good? I've been buying the Kirkland Signature protein bars, and enjoy the chocolate brownie and chocolate peanut butter flavors. The Kirkland Signature cookie dough and the cookies and cream flavors are okay, but not my favorite.

I would buy several boxes, if they are decent tasting, since I go through them pretty quickly.

I need to stop buying these when they go on sale.. pretty sure I have about 10 boxes incoming from the last few days. I do generally eat at least 1 or 2 a day though just to try to get enough protein/fats in my diet. So far I have always liked all the flavors I have had and this is the closest I really get to a dessert.

Doesn't work for San Diego at least... lame. Also this thing as at least part of its protein coming from soy... which I wouldn't recommend. Do your research.

IMO, the Kirkland are probably the best I have tried & used to purchase the chocolate brownie regularly, but the price just got out-of-hand. For $8., try 'em to see which suits you. Repped, OP.

I don't know how they determine shipping availability, but on my account without prime it shows for the 7.79, but when I switch to a family member's account with prime it becomes not available... even with the same shipping address. In any case, I ordered a handful of these and cancelled the S&S order for next month I placed last week at almost double the price.

Update: bought another 600 of them spending a total of $740 today and bringing the total to 1140 on protein bars. I look at it like I have a year to a year and a halfs worth on something that I use everyday at an unbeatable price and they don't go bad. And honestly, this is an amazing product to have quantity of if God forbid there's ever a food crisis. You can get by for a substantial amount of time on these
