You are talking about new card bonus vs existing card offer on Amex. That's a huge difference. You don't need to apply for a new card and get a credit pull to get the Amex offer.

Unless Samsung charged when it shipped then *maybe*?

If you can, I'd cancel and reorder. Word is that CSR won't/can't retroactively apply the promo to a purchase before you added it to your account.

Thanks. Follow up question. Does it have to be one time purchase of more than 1k or can it be a bunch of purchases in separate transactions totalling more than 1k?

For this specific promotion, it says "one or more purchases", so yes it can be multiple purchases.

Well, that's pretty much the deal that pushed me to pre order the fold 6 to upgrade from my fold 4. Was on the fence honestly but the extra points made it more enticing
