For the love of God please don't feed your dogs grain free diet unless they're allergic. There have been numerous studies linking it to heart disease in dogs

Yeah, people are so silly. They forget that before we domesticated dogs that they used to have their own grain farms. Like most predators, they evolved to not eat meat.

Dogs didn't have animal farms either. They foraged and ate whatever they could find, a combination of animals, plants, berries, grains, etc. the idea that dogs were pure carnivores has been thoroughly debunked.
The other poster is absolutely correct to warn, particularly with large breed dogs, there is a suspicious connection between COMMERCIAL grain free food formulations and DCM, a fatal and irreversible heart condition.
I like the blue bag of dry dog food from Costco. It's salmon based. Probably gonna kill my dog but he's a super picky husky mix and for the life of me I've thrown away so many bags that he gets whatever he actually wants to eat.

These comments are all good, and I agree with the statement about avoiding grain free meals. However, I was disappointed to see that no one commented about the title / run together brand and product name "I love you and you nude"?

My mastiffs live, on average, over 12 years and have never had any major complications. I've had multiple since I was in my teens and that was a long time ago.

I think I'll keep doing what I've been doing!
What have you been doing? Are you feeding this specific brand of grain free kibble?
To be clear: this is not meant as a dig against those who cook meals for their dogs using real whole meats and vegetables. There's been no suggestion that is bad for your dog — heck I bet that's better than most types of dry commercial food.
The caution here is specifically that dry, commercial, non-grain kibble in the last 5-10 years have gotten implicated with heart disease. It is a recent phenomenon and not well understood yet.
I recently lost a Golden at 5 years due to DCM. Like some of the commenters here, there were factors like food allergies that led to me choosing a high quality, expensive, grain free kibble that had whole meats in the top ingredients. Only took about 8 months for DCM to take hold right after the food switch. I will spare grueling details about what gradual heart failure is like (or how it feels knowing your food choice may have contributed), but please, I really recommend everyone to do your own research before choosing a grain-free commercial food.

If I had to give any single piece of advice to keep your dog healthy and long lived....
..... It would be to stop worrying about what you feed them and start paying attention to when and how much you feed them. My dogs are fed once per day (not including snacks and treats of course because I'm a sucker). The last time my 8-year-old Mastiff was at the vet was about 2 months ago for a checkup and the 75-year-old vet told me he thought he was two or three years old.
We have had two English Mastiffs, one great dane, one Newfoundland, and one monstrous show quality Rottweiler. My parents have had 4 mastiffs, 2 Danes, and one Newfoundland.
4.5 stars on dog food advisor
5 stars for the other flavors
We have been feeding our golden doodle and Aussie doodle science diet most the time tractor supply offers 35% off first subscription but if you cancel and start another you can usually get to discount again
To other members horror and bad thoughts I do sneak in a bargain if we find one
At this price not really a bargain but meets the less than $1.50 -$2/lb limit I set
Tried one
I have to agree that grain free has fallen out of favor and is not the rage it once was
Actual one of the best deals we do is chicken leg quarters
Used to could find them for 38 cents, 58 cents, now up to 78 cents per pound for a 10 lb bag but the dogs love them boiled while I'm not above sticking them on the grill for me
This I and Love and You Nude and/or I and Love and You Naked Essentials are the ONLY kibble our 10+ year old cattle dog eats. She remains healthy as a rat, active, shiny coat, NO health issues...ever. End results determine efficacy. YMMV.

The top ingredients here include concentrated pea protein which is one of the suspect ingredients. Did your ancestral dogs make tapioca flour too?
Beef, beef meal, menhaden fish meal, dried peas, dried chickpeas, pea protein, natural pork flavor, canola oil (preserved with mixed tocopherols), bison, tapioca starch, natural flavor, dried lentils, dried sweet potatoes, sunflower oil, flaxseeds, ground miscanthus grass, salt, dried carrots, choline chloride, coconut oil, dried chicory root, dried pumpkin, taurine, potassium chloride,
