Not recommended for those with a shaky marriage.
So as an extremely poor college student, I once bought a can of Campbell's pork and beans with a large chunk of pork prominently displayed on the front of the can. However, to my dismay, when I returned home and opened the can there was nary a sliver of pork to be found. In my impoverished, malnourished, and indignant rage, I happen to notice a number on the side of the can encouraging customers to call if they had questions or concerns. Upon getting a hold of the customer service representative, I immediately reported my unfortunate findings. However, rather than the representative being equally aghast at my discovery, she immediately and without missing a beat chipperly informed me that the meat was blended into the juices... yup, right into the juices. I slowly and silently hung up the phone. I was not the first crestfallen customer to make this phone call.
From that day forward I knew I had been bamboozled. Not only about the pork and beans, but rather about the whole damned thing. The world is a lie that many are all too happy to tell.
