Did you just scan them or need to get help to get a price adjustment?
If you haven't already done it, scan the batteries first, which will ring up $99. Then scan the tool and it splits the 2 ($35.26 for batteries + $63.74 for impact= $99).No CS rep needed.

The price will come out the same regardless of which you scan first. I actually did the impact first both times.

Good to know. The sales guy who unlocked the impact for me told me to scan the batteries first, then the impact and it should work... and if not then get the checkout employee to help. It worked so I didn't need assistance, but good to know it works either way.

+1 for me. Picked up the last one at my store. They had it up on a top pallet out of site. At first they told me the free tool might not work. I tried it and it worked.

my local store said they had 6 in no listed aisle. I found the same helpful employee that always shows me last time something was sold. last one sold 2 month ago so chances are someone stole the rest according to him.

even at 63 its a decent price for two max batteries. I cant pull the trigger at 63 as I havnt touched my tools in almost a year and mostly use the batteries for accessories and have enough.

Thank you greatly. I've wanted the impact for a long time and got money for my birthday yesterday and went and bought it.

Yeah, found one at my local store--right where it was supposed to be in the cage and sitting right up front. I added the reciprocating saw, which I have been wanting. There were supposedly four battery kits in stock, which changed to three after my purchase, but the remaining three kits were ghosts and not anywhere on the normal shelves/cages, nor up high, nor in the clearance section. And the employee who I asked about the remaining three said they had not had any for months. Despite him just opening the cage to give me the last one... So like all HD clearance, the listed inventory is not necessarily accurate.

Yep, always the way. My store had 6 listed as in-stock. In reality, they had 3. I bought 2. The 3rd will likely never be purchased because the employee that pulled the 2 down from top stock for me left the third pushed all the way to the back of the shelf so no one will ever know it's even there.

my HD it was accurate. Only the poster said the deal was for $169 but the battery was clearly marked 99 with theft alarm wrapped around them.

I have this. It effortlessly removes bolts torqued to 186 ft-lbs.
For my lug nuts it cannot undo in the mode 1. It does on the 2nd mode or Auto. My lug nut torque is 76 ft-lbs.

Sweet worked out for me. My store has so many available, at least 8 that I saw and that's after I took 2 battery kits and 2 tools. Thanks. I needed some more ridgid batteries. I'm good for another year at least lol

The battery pack had the yellow clearance tag for $99 and customer service confirmed the deal. This was for 08850 NJ.
I rang up a battery kit + "free" tool at the Edison NJ store for $99 + tax. The receipt show each price adjusted. I will be returning the tool to my local store today, and keeping the batteryies for ~ $36

Yep. It can take the lugs on my truck off very easily (torqued to 150 ft lbs). I have also used it to remove a seized wheel hub assembly on my truck and a seized brake caliper assembly on my wife's Honda.
