That's a nice screen. The Wi-Fi specs are very dated though. It's 1x1 and ac. It's not even ax. That was in a many year old Chromebook. If it's not soldered on you can upgrade with a Intel ax210 card for about $12 to get 2x2 ax.

zip payment looks like financing so I can't tell how to pay for this up front. I don't want to make an account just to buy this so I guess I'm out. This checkout seems complex.
do they impact your credit score too?

This would be a very nice coding and media consumption laptop for the $ if I had any faith in that keyboard. Probably cross fingers for another Thinkpad ryzen OLED deal assuming they still have old stock

10000% exactly this - I just can't use a consumer-grade keyboard anymore, ThinkPad, HP Elitebook or the nice Dell lines (XPS, Precision, Latitude) or else I will kick myself everyday I use it for buying it!

That's a processor for a $300 machine. The graphics are worse than you got with a Ryzen 5 in 2020.

I'm guessing they are saying because of the possibility of image burn in over time. Especially considering how many years people typically keep computers.

The new OLED tech is better at reducing burn in and this does come with a one year warranty so I wouldn't be worried about it personally. Plus burn in is usually caused by having the same thing on the display for long periods of tv. Current gen OLED TVs are fine so these should be also.
I think the concern would be static taskbars and toolbars, static wallpaper, and spreadsheet burn in. It's a legitimate concern, but I think that would require lots of heavy duty office work for hours each day. If that's your use case, it's a possibility - but burning doesn't really matter for a screen that's only doing office work, to be honest. This being a relatively cheap and small laptop, I think this would be more aimed at light media consumption. If that's what you're using it for, burn in is less likely. I wouldn't let it deter you either way.
