Tempted to get one but fear it's one of the things that's getting used twice a year. We already have way too many of those kitchen tools.

Is anyone using their spiralizer attachment frequently and can tell me for what exactly?

I use mine quiet often to make zucchini noodles. I find it worth it for that alone over the years, better than the crappy plastic alternatives.

With that, in for one as a gift!

Got one, very rarely you see a KitchenAid attachment this cheap.
Can get them on eBay for $30 new so not true, also these seem like a hassle to use.

Anyone know if these kinds of attachments fit a 25 year old kitchaid mixer?
If you have the square drive on the front — it will fit. They haven't changed the design across any of their mixers over the years.

Anyone spiral specifically for an air fryer? Looks like spirals might be a good cut for sweet potatoes and beets in an AF. Or is cutting just less annoying? I don't want another drawer space item. My order won't ship the 22nd.

I was going to order this but I thought I should double check. Apparently, I had ordered this in Jan 2019 from Sears (of course for free). It's still brand new in the box. Hope you use yours more frequently
I'm usually excited to open the box and use it on the very same day. Unfortunately, sometimes that's it, like with the kitchen blowtorch for creme brulee I recently stumbled over.

It's times like this why I hate Walmart.
Tried ordering it online late last night for in store pickup.
And it just wouldn't let me. Even though it shows available at a few locations locally.
So try to go in person. And at Walmart they refuse to honor the online price. Even though the Corporate Website says the Price Policy is that they do Price Match Walmart.com. They always refuse to do so in store. Saying that they do not Price Match. Even though the Corporate Website says otherwise. Even explained to a manager that I normally click on Find in Store. And that the list of locations pops up. And usually I click on a store that shows it's available. And normally after clicking Save. It usually comes up with an Add to Cart button to place an order for In store Pickup. But for some reason it just wouldn't let me in this case. And they offered was $20 off. While in store it was priced at $95. So I walked out. This was at the 918 Bandera Location in San Antonio, Texas.

I miss the old days where price matching at Walmart was easy. Sadly people started taking advantage of it and scamming Walmart and corporate changed the policy to leave it up to each store to decide what they can price match or not.

Like you said, it is a lottery. Most regular employees will not price match or tell you that the store policy is not to price match just to avoid having to go through the process.

Right now they need a Manager to do a pricematch like you said. The cash register needs a manager to override the price and let the pricematch to go through. So, most employees tell you we don't price match because good luck finding a manager in most stores, and if there is one it usually takes time for them to come and help.

Then you need to have good luck that the manager is a the mood to do it. A lot of managers, knowingly that corporate allows for the store to decide, just won't do the price match. A lot of them deny it because of the sour experiences of people scamming using the pricematch policy.

Like you I just avoid trying to pricematch at Walmart unless I don't have anything else good to do with my time lol.

Ended up deciding to go to a different location. This time tried the one off Vance Jackson close to IH 10 in San Antonio, Texas. Ended up talking to like 4 different employees who were all wondering why it wouldn't let the order be placed for in store. including what looked like 2 different managers. in the end I was told to just take it to the front to Customer Service and that it would be up to them to decide to honor it or not. One of the employees said she had to do it before when she bought something herself and that they honored it for her in the past but she also said that was like 2 years ago. So I took it to Customer Service. Told them that the manager and some other employees in the back told me to bring it to Customer Service and ask for the price match. And they said that's fine. and they honored it. So I ended up getting it. Gave it to my sister since I think she'll use it more than me or my parents. She lives right next door in the same house. It's just divided into 2 sections and she lives in the front part of the house. It's sorta like a duplex. though there is a door between both kitchens but we have that door blocked off. So can always just borrow it if i ever want to use it. Also from my experience it's always been an issue with Price Matching with Walmart.com at Walmart stores.

The answer is YES! I rearranged my kitchen to allocate prime counter space to the mixer now that I've used the spiralizer. It's staying out permanently.

Thanks, OP. I kind of thought this would be another gimmick kitchen thingy. It's not.
Making a "nest" out of beets, yams, eggplant, zucchini, etc. is the best way to air fry ever--- even and fast with all that surface area. Clean up is stupid easy, too.

Best deal and functioning kitchen gadget I've had here.
