How is this monitor when compared to 57" ultrawide. Occasional gamer no hardcore gaming.
Mostly office work.
So I am assuming this would have more usable real estate than ultrawide?
Any recommendations between the 2?

Depends on what you want honestly. This one has integrated speakers, the ultrawide does not. Think of this more as a gaming TV rather than a monitor. It allows you to display 4 different inputs at the same time on the screen and can be rotated and have 3 different inputs that way.

I have this monitor. It is nice. The 4 inputs thing is not what you think. Although the breakout box has multiple HDMI inputs, it can only display one of those at a time. If you tell the monitor to have 4 independent windows, the other windows have to be either the "smart" function of the monitor, or airplay, or wireless casting, which may defeat the purpose for some.

Honestly if I were to do it all over again I would probably just get a similar sized OLED. For about the same or less. This panel isn't OLED. Unless you want the 165hz and low latency for gaming, or really want the auto rotate, you'll get a better picture and similar "smart" functions with a modern OLED, but at 120hz, no rotation increased latency, and no curve.

I'm pretty sure this is the v2 that actually supports using 4 different inputs on the screen at once - "Odyssey Ark 2nd Gen. with enhanced Multi View supports up to four inputs, including an all-new Display Port".

Ahh, thanks for the clarification!
