This is the same outfit that let me order a new one for $100 months ago (along with the $35 plan), and then sat on the order for weeks before saying they were sold out.
You would then have an unactivated phone that could be used on wifi (like a mini iPad). After 60 days, the phone would become unlocked so it could be used on another carrier? Am I missing any details here? For us, the use case would be to have an unactivated phone for our child to use (for things like FaceTime and YouTube) when connected to wifi.

Hi there! Did you keep the Straight Talk's plan for just a month or the whole time? Tia..
Nice! Same here! Waiting for it to be unlocked so I can park the line.
I wasn't able to purchase AppleCare on mine. It was in a plastic bubble wrap in a plain box. It did look 99% like new if not newer.
Called today talked to CS at Straighttalk asking for an update. Couldn't find anything about my order via any of the following info: phone number, email address, paypal transaction ID, CC number associated with Pay Pal transaction. CS agents were pleasant, but it is a little frustrating they couldn't give me any info. I realize the guest + paypal combo is maybe not making it easy, but I think the guest process made me put in my email.
Any advice or similar experiences to guide whether I decide to wait it out a bit or dispute with paypal and...I guess try again?

TW isn't known for fast shipping, I suggest waiting till Tues before getting concerned (they usually don't ship on weekends).
BTW - brand new Straight Talk SE3's were only $49 plus 1 month plan at Walmart last holiday season, it's possible the same deal will show up again.
Thanks for mentioning the holiday deal, I thought about waiting for the holiday deals to see what came but this seemed like the deal for now, and though it's just a second/backup device, the need's a little time sensitive.

Here's their "track order" page, although I think you might need to have jotted down your order number when you placed the order. (They have a link for "forgot your order number" but not sure if it works for brand new orders.) Might be something to try though.

1) Upon switching on the iPhone it goes through the normal setup process and then after connecting to Wi-Fi states that it's partially setup. It then asks to either "Erase and Start Over" OR "Continue with partial setup". What option should be selected?
2) There was no SIM card in the package I received from StraightTalk. A plan had to be purchased with the device and it's clearly listed in the order confirmation email from Straight Talk. There's a "Start Hereā¦" set of instructions on which both the phone's IMEI and a SIM number are listed. Is the SIM preprogrammed into the phone? Does it not need a physical SIM card?
TIA to those who are able to provide guidance.
Appreciate the prompt reply. I didn't expect a pre-installed SIM card so it was pleasantly surprising. Erased the phone and set it up again and it's working fine. Repped!
