Agreed Celeron processor is a joke. Had one and only used it a handful of times because it was that slow. Might only be good if you just want it to display something static.

Does s mode mean you can only use Edge browser? I thought 8gb was enough to run Windows.

S mode is a very locked down version of Windows. You can only install approved apps from the Windows store and there aren't very many. On the plus side, it's a good OS for old people (or someone who's not familiar with computers) because it's virtually impossible to get malware on it. You can go into the settings and upgrade to the full version of Windows, but you can't go back to S mode once you've done that.
