This is really a great, no frills saw. It's super powerful, the spin up time is great and it never bogs down. I had one maybe 10 years ago and paid around this. I was super happy with it. Everything was square and solid out of the box.

It does lack some comforts though, I'd basically only use it for 90s and 45s.

Good price. Great no frills saw for home use. Unless you're cutting tons of lumber you won't miss the lack of sliding blade, laser, etc. and TBH that's just one less moving part that wears and tears. Another upside is it's quite a bit lighter than many miter saws that basically need wheels to be moved.

The dust extractor works but works a lot better with a vacuum attached. The included blade is actually decent and holds up well, though you'll want more teeth for small pieces needing a finer finish.

This was $89 for many years (same model). Now it's $95 from inflation. Not anywhere close to a deal. You can get a lot more miter saw for the money. This is an entry level model.

You do know that price history is posted at the top of every deal.

And you can search this site for similar items posted in the past.

Anyways, $100 or less has been the going deal rate on this saw for about 5 years. There was one $85 deal for the *refurbished* version 3 years ago, so feel free to jump in the time machine and save $10.

No one will come to inspect your workbench and write you a fine for not owning The Best or highest value tools. The best way to save money is to *spend less money* and if you don't need dual bevels or a sliding blade, turns out this is one of the best + cheapest options you'll find. Spending $100 more on a better saw for features you don't need is the definition of wasting $$$
