I've played with 2-5 people, and even the occasional 6 despite the rulebook. It's always a great time, although I prefer 5 people

It works fine with 2 players. There is a reduction in the number of gem tokens you use, the rest remains the same

can confirm, play this a lot with my fiance just us 2. And, it's still fun to play with more people, as your strategy has to change as other players will use the cards you were planning on taking next turn.

Decent game, but highly recommend the better but 2 player only splendor duel, or similar mechanics century spice road (or century golem) for 3-5 players.

I got it for $19 at Target last week, but I think anything $20-ish is worth it. We may not see some of those pre-inflation all-time lows anytime soon.

I dont care how many people you have playing, the game always always always comes down to like 1 or less turns difference.

"Oh, I would have had 8 more next turn!"
"Oh man, I was going for that 5 point easy one if the turn got to me!"



Awesome game, one of my favorites. My family is sick of playing it with me, so I dont get to play as much anymore.

This is a great game. Easy to learn for even smart ~10 year olds but has a lot of deep strategy and surprises. Really fun game especially for 4 people. If you want a family game night for 4 ppl, this is probably the best game. Older kids, women, men, dumb, smart, all love this game. It's fun
