Does the hub add any value to this?
The hub allows for the 24/7 without the SD, and there is a cross camera beta.

I picked up two of these two get a hybrid of 24/7 in busy traffic and 330 wireless in backyard with less traffic.

Why is this a downgrade from the 330? Also for those who are doing 24/7 recording any hard drive recommendations for the home base?

The light is a downgrade: 3200 lumens vs 2000 lumens. I use a SSD for the Homebase 3. The playback from it seems faster.

Yeah I'm buying it for the 24/7 recordings. Motion detections would not record everything if something happens.
You can say that again. Granted, different product, but my Eufy motion-detection doorbell cam misses about 50% of people who come to my door, usually those dropping off packages and such. There is also often a delay in recording when it does record, which I've also heard is common with the actual security cameras. I was trying to avoid hard-wiring, but I don't think there's any way around it for decent security.

Has anyone replaced a ring floodlight cam with this? If so how does it compare?

I'm intrigued. I just bought a Ring Floodlight Pro (already have a subscription for my alarm), planning to mount it at front of house. I think I like this more for the dual cameras and 24/7 recording. 5ghz is a requirement since my 2.4ghz band is super congested. Can anyone compare the video quality between this and Ring?

Look into Scrypted.

I currently own 5 Eufy products, including the hub, which is essential for 24-hour video monitoring. Previously, I used Nest and Ring products, but I found their user interface slow and their functionality limited, so I switched to Eufy. Eufy has the best user interface, offers convenience, quick access, full control, and simple setup. I also opted for the paid outside monitoring option, which reduced my home insurance by $300 after I paid $99 for it. This option does not provide access to the camera; it only alerts the authorities when necessary (be sure to keep pets away from the alarm sensors). After using the Eufy system for 7 months, I'm completely satisfied and wouldn't consider any other brand. I believe it's a steal at $150 due to its reliability and functionality, offering top-tier security and value that exceeds the cost. Just my 2 cents.

I'm going to compare this to my recently purchased Wyze Floodlight Pro - which I think the Eufy will win due to non-subscription, dual lenses, improved resolution, and pan/tilt. Typing this out, I already regret my Wyze buy.

Can this be directly connected to AC power? Or does it have a adapter?
Basically, can I replace my conventional flood light with this one without changing anything for power?

You should be able to use the same wiring of the conventional flood light , it does not require any special adapter.

Not what you think. Because of cpu and power limitations, the motion detection on the camera is weaker than the HomeBase motion detection. HB caught 100% events with correct human detection. The camera caught more than 90% with false human detection. It is the same with my doorbell. I wouldn't buy an Eufy camera without HomeBase

S330 is solar powered and can be lte. E340 is wired (110v) and has 24/7
Eufy naming can be confusing.

I believe the person you replied to is asking for a comparison between the Floodlight Camera E340 and Floodlight Camera E330 neither of which are solar powered, both are hardwired.

I have the Floodlight E330 and I am adding the E340 to my setup.

The three biggest differences I can tell are:

1. E330 has more LED's for more brightness
2. E340 has dual cameras
3. E340 can do 24/7 recording

I hope this helps someone
