Just purchased it, was a little on the fence (thinking about if I should buy the $2200 bundle instead with the rp1400 sub)

The sub will be a future purchase when it goes on sale again, and I got some nice vintage pioneer speaker fronts (CS-V970) so I can skip the L&R
Rears I have some mid 90's sony 95w bookshelfs that sound pretty nice

My center was really underpowered though, sony 30w (SS-CN125) with a single 2in ported speaker and no tweeter
So really needed to upgrade that, the sub is no better at 35w thus will be the next upgrade

and I have other speakers laying around that I will repurpose for atmos

And the avr for those who care is a sony str-dn1080

this is passive speaker you would need amplifier/receiver. Also another pair of bookself speaker.

Pro tip, buy black wood vinyl wrap on Amazon for $10 and wrap it yourself, very easy. Walnut color always go on sale. I have the black Klipsch 8000f ii, and got this walnut one which I wrapped myself. No one will tell the difference. Klipsch speakers come vinyl wrapped from the factory anyways.

Any suggestions on how to mount this if you have a tv over a fireplace or is it just too large?

Its not really meant to be mounted, that said amazon does sell brackets if you want to do such a thing, you can also just put a shelf to hold it, either above the tv with a downward angle or below it.
It it a very big speaker though, and not light at around 40lbs, you also need clearnce in the back for the connections which stick out (not recessed) and the air vent.

Fantastic Center, easily the best one you can find anywhere close to this price. you would need to go $1,000 or higher to find better AQ.... Running two of these now in 2 setups and they are exceptional, incredible clarity and unlike other centers they can go low and reproduce mens voices accurately!
This is why I want it. The rest of my speakers are Polk, hesitant to mix. Definitely don't want to redo whole room with Klipsch, yet.

I feel your pain brotha. I've been waiting for an Ebony 504C II to go on sale but I'm tired of waiting. I asked in an old 504c piano black thread on here about a vinyl wrap that matches the one Klipsch uses and I was linked this:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079MF2KQW

I'm just going to bite the bullet and get the Walnut and wrap it.

Wish this damn isn't so damn big. Anyone have any other recommendations for slightly smaller units?

This center is rear ported, correct? I need a center to go in a cabinet that doesn't have a lot of space behind it, so I'm assuming I should be looking for a sealed or at least front ported design.

Yep, I have the 365C and am interested in the 504C but will stick with what I have. Solid 3-way design with fantastic horizontal dispersion.
