I bought one and I agree -- for the price, it is an excellent performer with excellent specs for $750. I don't think you will find an Ultra 7 CPU and a 3K OLED 120Hz display for $750 anywhere. The SSD is, of course, upgradeable, but not the RAM. What's not talked much about is the giant "MacBook" sized touchpad. I like it.
It has been $750 for a while, so I think it's just a normal price (would be AMAZING deal if it went on sale lower than $750).
A pretty cool feature is the built-in ASUS OLED screen-saver (triggers in 30 minutes of idle time). A very colorful motion/abtract screensaver that helps from getting burn-in images.
The MyAsus app has lots of good configuration options, too. It's actually very useful.
It has the 155H cpu chip. Chips with the H at the end will come with Intel Arc GPU so the performance should be much better than the Intel Iris Xe but not as good as the RTX 3050. You'll get better battery life than with the RTX 3050 though. If it has the chipset cones with a U at the end it'll come with Intel Iris Xe instead.

Picked this up yesterday. Decided to take advantage of tax free holiday. Was able to use TRIPLE10 to take another $10 off so grabbed it for $739 and no taxes. Really loving the laptop, the screen is indeed gorgeous!

Is this 2-in-1 laptop?
I am looking for a 2-in-1 laptop for my daughter going to college. Do you guys recommend something? Thanks
I just bought the asus zenbook 14 from best buy for my son to use at college. It seems to check all the boxes and so far he loves it. No idea about durability for college, but hopefully it lasts 4 years of being lugged around campus!

Bought this in june, the battery ,screen , touchpad and keyboard lights are the best in price range for me. 155h runs great , 8 hours in vscode goes nowhere , silent , cannot hear the fan , decrease the resolution if you want more battery life but I saw that its much clearer using full r3k res of the screen. Only downside?? yes this is still intel but if you are sitting in 20 to 24 centigrade it will rival the hot aluminium of apple. Speed wise I had no issues running , 200 chrome tabs , 5 vscodes , 8 docker containers , datagrip , redis insight , notepad++ , kube lens , multiple wsl2 tabs. If you are a programmer on a budget I do not know what you else you want. Charging is dam fast , in just 30 mins you till 70. It is the lightest windows laptop I have owned. Ofc I think gram can beat it but like what I do not have concrete stats but I think .20 pounds heavier I guess , can be wrong (very wrong haha ). The only reason I did not get the gram because at the time of buying grams had the old 13 gen chips and this had the latest 155h with improved graphics so yes , Disco elysium runs smooth on battery although I run on low graphics and 1080p so it lasts longer. Right now 155h grams are still expensive than this. Its overkill if you are getting it only for browsing. these are my personal taughts of the price I paid. The Size of the touchpad is unheard at this price point, its so big with great sensitivy settings , mind you high sensitivity feels just like macbook but sadly then it detects your palm during typing so I keep it at normal. Another warning as long time windows user , I always hibernate my laptop , problem is on each hibernate the color of your keyboard resets to default , I hate it sooo much , hope they fix it in an update but nothing as of now. I really like using light cyan blue at night.
Things I wish it did not have : the biggest notch underneath the screen hehe

I cant find it. Can you direct me what its under? I would assume under input device but I only see FN key function and trackpad on/off
You have been misguided brother its not in asus app its in windows settings new feature of win 11 device lights search "lightning colors" in windows earch and click the first one
I bought one of these and a touchscreen zenbook from Costco ($800) with a 13900h in it. Both were nice but the vivobook consistently had better Wi-Fi connection by 100-250mb/s—mostly 200mb/s faster. The battery life was better, too.

Is the touchpad glass or still very good? How does it compare to a macbook touchpad ?

I think it's called dynamic colors or something like that.
