These are the paddles you let your friends who are new to pickleball ... borrow, knowing they may never be returned.

True, but someone who is new should play with garbage paddles at least a few times before committing $100. Maybe even try a nice paddle of a friend for a few games.

A beginner what have any idea what a drop, spin, touch, reset etc mean.

I never had any luck collecting freebies from T mobile store. They never had any supplies left. Always out of stock !!!
