Sounds like a hammer banging on wood per YouTube.

I have several of these and that's not anywhere close to being true

Relatively loud, especially compared to WD Reds.

Youtube incentivizes clicks. If you put a thumbnail in with a guy holding his hands to his ears and frowning and put "Terrible!" in impact font, and hold a mic very close to the hard drive and increase the gain, you're going to get more clicks than someone who says "yes this measures at 32dba during access, which is in line with what Seagate states".

I wonder the chances of getting one of these new for $270 before end of year?

Hmmm, I got a 20TB Western Digital Elements external for $265.99 early this year so I wouldn't be overtly pessimistic. Shucking an external [reddit.com] is an option ergo it's comparable to a standard internal Pro/Enterprise drive IMO.

Overall, perhaps not a Seagate but a new 20TB drive for around $270 Black Friday doesn't seem too unlikely I reckon; especially an external...

I would rather buy a new TV for that amount of money.
