Whenever an excellent deal like this is posted from Menards, I am jealous there is no store around.

Is there anyway to ever skip the shipping fee for those of us who are not close to a store?
$24.99 is their previous price for this. Look elsewhere online and even on slickdeals, and you'll see that this typically sells for a whole lot more.

But regardless of any price that you are not paying, look at the price that you are paying in regards to what you are getting. $20-$22 for a really high quality tool bag is an excellent deal no matter which crossed out price you'd like to look at.

Excellent deal? It says on the listing that regular price is $24.99. Is this normally higher?

Sorry, not that I know of. Menards is a pretty old school, mostly brick and mortar, kind of company that seemingly hasn't fully embraced on-line sales.

Sweet! Thank you for the confirmation. I happen to be travelling and just stopped in to pick one up (also got the 12" for smaller jobs). Can confirm they're solid.

This. Also, they usually even charge a pickup fee when you do an online order for store pickup (to highlight how far they are in terms of free online ordering

Yeah, Menards is stupid dumb about listing accurate 'before' prices. On one hand I commend them for not being scummy and trying to inflate it to make their sale price look better (looking at you Macy's and Kohls). On the other hand it makes it really hard to determine how good a sale is sometimes. You kinda have to have a good understanding of what something is generally worth if your completely raw dawging their sales to find something good on your own. When you do think something is a good deal, try to find that same item somewhere else on the internet to see like what Amazon/Home Depot sells it for. If it's a store brand then you gotta like find a comp to something close elsewhere

I think Menards may be dropping the whole Tough Built line, if you go back to tool bags and sort by price you'll see a whole selection of them on sale cheap. Woot actually had a deal on these recently and Menards current pricing was lower than any of the Woot prices IIRC. Also if you're a DIY mechanic or hobbyist, they have the best deal on the silicone nesting trays for organizing parts/tools while working on stuff. It's like 15-18 bucks for a set of 3 which is about what Harbor freight for example wants for 1.

I Have this Bag. It's great, lots of pockets, it's HD. Taken a good amount of abuse and holding up great. It can get very loaded up / heavy too.

This is a lie that bag has always been $25 I have noticed a lot of "deals" on here lately more than before to inflate prices a try to make you believe you're getting a deal and you're really not
On Amazon you can track the prices of the item let's say is $40 all day every day then it does on here for $40 but the seller raise the price to $60 and you get $20 off coupon after a week or two the seller drops it to the normal price after the "sale"
Amazon price tracking shows that over the last 3 years this bag has typically been priced between $50 and $70. But back in 2018, it temporarily dipped to $27. See the camels' price chart below:

I checked it. It is a good bag for a whole project. This is not a bag that sits in closet. Very nice

I suspect the company is going out of business. Their Financials are horribly screwed up. Both menards and Lowe's seem to be clearancing out almost everything toughbuilt branded. The exception so far has been no deals on Stacktech.
