One example - anker/others offering more than double the power -- it's of course not modular but again i don't know if it's worth getting into the EGO ecosystem just for the battery bank unless you have tons of batteries. This one gives you far more utility/functionality for the same money.

Thanks. I'm in the EGO family already, but I only have a few batteries. The Anker isn't really the "same money" because the EGO comes with a chainsaw and a blower, which I would probably sell, because I already have a chainsaw and a blower. So I put the net price of the power station and batteries at $750 - $800. But I take your point, the Anker is much better for 20-25% more money.

This sounds like a deal for someone who happens to want an inverter as well as a blower and chainsaw lol.

TLDR: If you need everything, you're basically paying $200-300 for the nexus power station even with slick deals.
