Does this have the Toyota WS rating? If yes, then it would be ok to be put on any toyotas.

Thank you... helps someone looking at this. I didn't think so either. Better off looking at Valvoline ATF which is on sale currently at $51 for 3 pack of 1 gallon. It is WS rated.

I've been using Valvoline in Toyotas and Lexus for years, zero issues.

Same here ... Easily available and rated clearly Toyota/Lexus vehicles and whole lot cheaper than the stealership branded oils which are really not from Toyota but contracted with Warren oil or some place to manufacture to some specs.

This is for older transmissions that use Dex3 fluid, think around early 2000's and older.
You can use in newer vehicles for steering fluid, except Honda.

Even then I like their HM version for older Dex3 trans.

Same. Used in Highlander and multiple Lexus RX350. Never an issue and it is synthetic too. Peeps should go read up in Bob is the Oil Guy before telling people not to use Valvoline ATF with Toyota WS approval in their Toyota and Lexus..

This is a GM product. If you need WS you can get aisin ws fluid. Toyota ws or the only aftermarket general fluid that has been used successfully in WS transmissions for over a decade is Valvoline max life. It has the correct rating and it also has the history

One thing I've learned in 30 years of working on cars: always use oem tranmission fluid.
I tried to get by with using cheaper aftermarket fluid and it lead to slipping/odd shift behavior. Then you have to flush it out and replace it with oem. Twice the work and expense. Not worth the risk.
I'll use aftermarket filters, oil, parts etc but trans fluid is the one thing that I'm convinced needs oem in modern vehicles.

Toyota WS is unusual as an OEM fluid which is inferior in blend. There are a handful of superior WS rated synthetics. Valvoline just happens to be easy to find.

A lot of the cars this goes in probably don't even have OEM fluid still available. I know for two of my cars that use this the OEM fluid is discontinued, and the newer OEM fluids that superspeed the original fluid are lower viscosity fluids than the original.
