This is a 300 series zwave lock and traffic is unencrypted (if you care). It will work with any zwave hub but I had a lot of issues with commands timing out and failing on hubitat and Home Assistant (with nortek 500 and zooz 700 and 800).
It's hard to beat $20 for a lock but with the unreliable calls and batteries constantly dying it was worth it for me to spend the money on something better.
EDIT: And for anyone arguing battery life, check what version you have. The YRD210 "looks" identical to the Yale 216 (assure 1 model) with the only visible difference being the bottom row of buttons having check mark/gear vs pound sign/asterick.
The difference in 300 vs 500 series zwave battery life was several months for me as I owned both versions.
much easier to just bust out a window and open the door from the inside.
For further evidence beyond the comments in that thread, this air force military paper [dtic.mil] goes into great detail on zwave security. Starting on page 73, it shows the firmware they extracted from this exact chip module, including pointing out the sections of the firmware with aes encryption support.
