Still a little bit more than a Jegs stool, but it seems like a pretty good price.

I do own this stool and would recommend it! Has held up well. I'm an average diy'er but I've been impressed with it.

If it was twice the price and made by Milwaukee it would be on the front page right now.

Folks that own this help me out--if I'm wrenching I'm normally crawling under a car, or standing and leaning over an engine. And for working at a bench I'd need a taller stool--so--when do folks use something like this?

Have been watching these for a while and thinking it might be good to own, but when I think about it I can't seem to justify it...what am I missing?

I use it to sit on when I scoop kitty litter.

Bodywork and wheel work. But mainly for a nice seat for beverage breaks. 😁

Not good for working for cars. It is to tall unless you get a car up on a lift. It is adjustable but it is quite tall.

Maybe buffing the upper sides of a car but the lower portions it just doesnt work. If your bench is reasonable height it does adjust high enough to work at a bench. Taller bench might not work.

Over all it is a well made stool that just doesnt go low enough to use for the home mechanic without a lift.

For reference i am just under 6 foot tall.

They go from ~22-27" in height, you can't use a 27" tool at typical ~34-36" workbench??

$90's still a bit steep for a stool, IMO.. but I've been tempted to get one for the shop - nice to be able to sit down for time consuming things like sanding.

If you do your own brakes once, it'll pay for itself.

I have this and hate it. Everytime i stand up, the seat rotates, then when you sit back down, you sit on the little hump back rest thing and it almost throws you off into the floor.

Could you affix a Bungie cord to the bottom back of the seat and the foot rest to manage that?
