Is this a good deal for the reconditioned power head ? Seems like it rarely goes on sale new. Anyone have experience with Acme / Ego reconditioned items?

Keep your expectations low and you will not be disappointed. When you buy into Ego, you are buying into the battery. I have three in various stages of health. With recon batteries, you never know how much life you have left.

Got excited when I saw the zero turn lawnmower with 4 10ah batteries on the list of eligible products, but of course the 15% maxes out at $100 off.

Already in the ego eco system fortunately, if the battery is a dud, I'll have backups and hopefully get it warrantied. An extra battery is always handy to have, especially the 2.5ah one which is lightweight.

I love my Ego equipment generally, but battery failure is the weakness. Just killed a 4 year old 5ah this weekend running my chainsaw. Of course it's out of warranty (3 years).

I've now had a 7.5ah, 2x2.5 ah, and 1 5ah die. Probably bought my original mower with that 7.5ah and a blower with a 2.5ah nearly 10 years ago.

I'm down to a 7.5ah and another 5ah.

I did the same thing. Lame that you only end up getting 2% off the reconditioned zero turn.

Any recommendations on pole saw? Seems like there's lots of options, with the bundle, carbon fiber or not, and extension options. Any particular model number anyone likes or doesn't like. I suppose it depends on how i need to reach as well? Finally, how useful is the 2.5Ah? I otherwise only have a submit 10 Ah for the mower.
