Nobody needs a 64° unless you're a tour pro and need it for a specific course lol. Wedge gapping recommendations for *most* players are as follows: PW + 50-54-58 or PW + 52-56-60

Speak for yourself. This is a perfect wedge between my 60 and 68 (already own a 72).

PS: I did buy it though. For this price, its a fun club to have even if I don't put it in my bag most of my rounds.

Looks like it would be a fun club to chip around the yard with, if nothing else.

I keep going back and forth between a 60 degree lob wedge and a chipper for when I'm close to the green.

I'm a novice and everyone keeps saying it's too hard of a club to use unless you're pro.

But everyone keeps saying chippers are cheating and too easy.

What do these pros want from me?!?!?!

Got myself a sand wedge in my new irons set. Stopped using the 60 wedge. My scores aren't that much better. I am just much more consistent around the green without the 60. Sometimes I'd lob it really nice with a bunch of stopping power. Other times shoots right over the green. Lots of fun taking that gamble I guess lol.

The black chrome versions of this are also cheap and in stock currently at 52, 56 and 60.

If you're a novice (I'm assuming average score of over 95) then using a sand wedge or higher lofted wedge around the greens is not helping your game. The reason is those wedges typically have a high bounce, which in laymans means the front lip of your club is pointed UP, which leads to novice golfers skulling the ball over the green.

You're better off just using a pitching wedge to chip around the green.

Golf is hard, most are served well simplifying where possible. Using 3-5 wedges from 100 yards in is not something beginners should do.

Could end up hitting you straight in the face if you're not careful
