There are more tools than this. For example- https://www.homedepot.com/p/sets/.../331730058

Super flexible tool, when I used to make book safes by gluing the pages and cutting out the center, this tool was perfect. If you do dry wall, it can be used to cut out the spot for electrical sockets. It can cut tile, and there is a sandpaper attachment for use as a sander and this is just scratching the surface.

Oh man. You can do a lot with this. Actually one on the more useful tools I got in the "Greay Ryobi Buy of 2022".

- great when replacing floors
- use it to cut a box area behind your entertainment center, then thread in cords and cover with a metal plate door thing to hide them in the drywall
- great for cutting PVC
- I've fixed two door jam holes with it

It's good for cutting trimming things already installed and secure. It vibrates tremendously- so it's bad for cutting things not secure.

Also the included blade SUCKS. Get a Diablo replacement blade

We use ours (not Ryobi brand) to get into spots that normal larger tools can't get into. I think a bunch of people listed a bunch of examples but you can also get a ton of different types of blades for it to handle, wood, tile, etc. We used ours to cut the threshold between our master bath and bedroom so we could put a wider threshold piece in.

Good deal on battery but I won't recommend this multi tool. I own this and it vibrates too much and too slow. Get their brushless version which is much faster
I know it's nitpicking but I also bought it previously and while it did the job, I hate that to change the accessory you need a tool. The brushless is tool free.

I have an older porter cable plug in multi tool with tool less accessory change so I returned the Ryobi

I cut out small section of door jams rather than tearing the entire jam out. Also cut out a rotted section of fascia board. If I used the recip saw it would have cut up the new gutter and hit the roof sheathing.

Is there a bundle deal for the brushless multi-tool?

You can get either the batteries and charger or the tool for $39.50 if you hack it
Do you just buy both and return one? Or simply not picking up half of the order (if you choose store pickup)?

I have the ryobi hedge trimmer but the 40V version. It rusted after first cut. Compared to most green works tools it' was a disappointment.
I bought the 40v large hedge trimmer. 24" or 26" I think. Heavy but reliable and does a nice cut. Had for 3 or 4 summers now. Comparable to gas power for my light residential use

I tried to jump on this last night but as the other commenters said it was only the tool in the cart. Today I checked and the bundle is back, I just bought the jig saw bundle since I already have the oscillating tool.

So, it was temporarily dead but is back now.

I have the 18v hedge trimmer and it works great. Stopped using my corded one. I always use some oil or wd40 on the blades after each use.

It seems active for me also. But has anyone found a bundle that is something other than the multitool or jigsaw? Really want to get into Ryobi 18V and this is a great deal but already have both of the two options as 12V/corded.

Did a search but only found the two.
