You can activate phone #1 to have the bundled 1-yr and units loaded to it. Then activate phone #2 WITH A TRANSFER from phone #1; service on phone #1 (phone number, 1-yr, units) get transferred to phone #2, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #2 get added on top, giving phone #2 two years of service and 2x the units.

If you're currently using a phone on TF, your can activate phone #1 WITH A TRANFER from your current phone to have your current phone number, days, units transferred to phone #1, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #1 get added on top. Then activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1. After that, if you prefer to use your current phone, re-activate your current phone with a transfer from phone #2. Smart existing TF users do that all the time to "harvest" cheap service days and units from those HSN/QVC bundles.

Folks, just so you're aware...

The service plan is 1500 text, 1500 minutes, 1.5gb data -- for the *entire year*. Not per month. That's about 4 minutes of talk time per day.

It's an extremely minimal and restrictive cellular plan, one that you could even call insultingly low - especially if you're used to cellular plans in modernized nations (aka, ones outside the the USA). It's not for everyone, and make sure it fits your use case.

No need to be insulted - for many people (for example, those who use less than 4 minutes of phone talk per day) paying $2 (and sometimes less) per month for a phone service which includes a new smartphone every year is a very good deal.

If you really want the deal get a friend that doesn't have a QVC account to buy it - or pay full price, it's still a good deal for 2 yrs of service and 2 cheap phones.

Also for those that are buying these to harvest. One strategy is to activate them with a new number, then wait 60 days to unlock. After that merge the numbers to your main number. Now you have 2 phones you can sell as unlocked which will make these free + a mm. Sell for 50+ each locally.
I like this strategy the most. Question for clarification. When you say that after unlocked to merge the numbers to your main number, I take it you meant to harvest (move the remaining time/tests/data to your main line?
I'm a rookie and I don't know what else you might have meant by merging numbers together.

Tracfone newbie here. If I may also add to this (as this looks like a promising idea), would doing so roll over the remaining 10 months of credit, or would you lose it? I don't have Tracfone and would like to end up with 2 unlocked phones and as much of the 2 years of credit as possible. If I have to compromise, I'd rather 2 unlocked phones over 1 phone remaining locked to TF. Thank you for your assistance!

After you entered payment info and right before you hit submit order button, there should be a box for you to enter the coupon code.

Merging/Combining is when you ask a TF rep to combine/merge the remaining days/units from one ACTIVE phone into another ACTIVE phone. You can't do it yourself, so you'll need a rep to do it. It's more risky than activating an inactive phone with a transfer from an active phone because:
* Some reps don't know how to do it, or say it can't be done.
* Let's say you want to merge/combine the remaining days/units on phone A into phone B, but keep the current phone number of phone B. Some reps can mess up by:
- Moving the phone number of phone A to phone B and you lose the phone number of phone B.
- Move phone number, days/units from phone A to phone B and WIPE OUT the current phone number, days/units of phone B.

I've been using TF since 2001 and I avoid merging/combining.

As noted in the previous post, a merge/combine can be risky. You can accomplish what you want with no risk by activating the first phone and using it for 60 days until it unlocks. Once you confirm the first phone has unlocked, use the website to activate the second phone with a transfer of service from the first. You will only have one number which gets the full 24 months of service.

Thank you. I think this is the route I will try going. Is the timing super specific, meaning I have to do it exactly on day 60 or 61? I thought I read that phones that aren't activated in a certain time frame get blacklisted in some way and they won't activate?

You have up to 12 months from purchase date to actvate the phone. The timing is not super specific, typically the phone is unlocked 60 days after activation, but sometimes it's off by a day. After the phone has been activated, text the word UNLOCK to 611611 and it'll send back the expected unlock date. You can activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1 ANYTIME (up to 12 months after purchase) after phone #1 had been unlocked.

They cancel your order if you use a coupon when you're not actually a new customer. If they already have your address, payment method, or phone number on file, that order is canceled. Just don't use a coupon or have it shipped elsewhere.
I didn't have that problem, just used a different email and payment method

You were lucky and didn't get caught - that usually doesn't work for most people.

Doh, I'm such an idiot. I ordered the 2023 version when I looked at the package and realized the phone says that it has 32gb of internal memory. Too much of a hassle to return it. Oh well.

Don't be. It's super deceptive and QVC's description doesn't say anything about it being the 2023 version. I made the same mistake and I'll be returning.
