You can activate phone #1 to have the bundled 1-yr and units loaded to it. Then activate phone #2 WITH A TRANSFER from phone #1; service on phone #1 (phone number, 1-yr, units) get transferred to phone #2, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #2 get added on top, giving phone #2 two years of service and 2x the units.

If you're currently using a phone on TF, your can activate phone #1 WITH A TRANFER from your current phone to have your current phone number, days, units transferred to phone #1, then the bundled 1-yr and units for phone #1 get added on top. Then activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1. After that, if you prefer to use your current phone, re-activate your current phone with a transfer from phone #2. Smart existing TF users do that all the time to "harvest" cheap service days and units from those HSN/QVC bundles.

Folks, just so you're aware...

The service plan is 1500 text, 1500 minutes, 1.5gb data -- for the *entire year*. Not per month. That's about 4 minutes of talk time per day.

It's an extremely minimal and restrictive cellular plan, one that you could even call insultingly low - especially if you're used to cellular plans in modernized nations (aka, ones outside the the USA). It's not for everyone, and make sure it fits your use case.

No need to be insulted - for many people (for example, those who use less than 4 minutes of phone talk per day) paying $2 (and sometimes less) per month for a phone service which includes a new smartphone every year is a very good deal.

Don't be. It's super deceptive and QVC's description doesn't say anything about it being the 2023 version. I made the same mistake and I'll be returning.
Hope they don't make you pay for return shipping (they usually deduct it from your credit when you use the prepaid return label). Maybe try calling to see if they will waive the fee.
Why didn't you follow link at beginning of this thread? - it goes directly to the 2024 version, not the 2023 model.

If they do, I'll chargeback. The description has no details of the specs at all for the 2023 version, it's super deceptive.

I've never ordered from QVC before and I probably will never again. And I chargeback maybe once every few years, I'm sure my bank will side with me.

Prepaid label in the box but it shows how much they deduct for return shipping on it usually $6.95

If you activated before returning you still get refund minus return shipping cost. And plan never disappears i still have 1 year 24GB unlimited from Blu return

The description is clear, its "Tracfone Moto G Play 24'" - 24 indicate 2024 also mentioned in the description of the device ( Includes two Moto G Play 2024 4G smartphones, each with USB charging cable, SIM tool, one year of service/1,500 minutes/1,500 texts/1.5GB data; handset, car charger, case, and voucher) , so if they shipped 2023, Call them and ask them to send 2024

The description isn't clear at all. There are two nearly identical moto g play listings. In one, it lists the specs of the phone including the CPU/RAM. The other listing which costs a penny more, does not list the CPU or RAM of the phone. If QVC listed the CPU/RAM of the $79.99 model in the description, I would have never ordered that phone since I would have instantly known something was wrong given that it does not have a snapdragon 680 but the vastly inferior helios g37.

Did anyone get there order yet??
I got mine today. It came with the charging (cable and adapter). The adapter was not inside the Tracfone box. It must be from QVC, and not part of the Tracfone package.

All items loose outside the TF box are usually just a generic item, like the cheap phone cover.
Same when purchasing TF from HSN.

Has anyone tried using a QVC gift card to get around the payment method for a new user. I used my father's email, mailing address and credit card and the purchase got rejected because QVC said he is not a new user. I'm sure I never used his credit card or email address for a purchase before.

Thanks, this thread has many variations of the script I think I used.

Got the phones today, got them both merged today. Tomorrow or the next day I'll see if CS will let me combine them with what I'm working with.

Can someone help me out on this
If I bought 4 phones can I harvest 4 years worth?
If not not big deal just curious.

For doing the 2 year. Do I need to register them with tracphone using the same email?
Is this the right understanding:
I can Activate both phones today. Wait 60 days for the unlock of both phones. Then transfer what ever time/minutes left on one phone to the other phone. Giving me aprox 22 months?

You can buy 4 phones and harvest from them without problems.
To transfer and/or combine/merge, it's best to have all phones in the same account.
If you activate both phones at the same time, after 60 days each phone will have 10 months left, combine one into another will give you 20 months, not 22. If you activate phone #1 first, then after 60 days activate phone #2 with a transfer from phone #1, then phone #2 will have 22 months of service.

I wanted the cashback, if you go thru the link you won't get the cashback, penny wise pound foolish, I guess.

Do the phones come with protective case as pictured? Also, are screen protectors included by any chance?

Merging/Combining is when you ask a TF rep to combine/merge the remaining days/units from one ACTIVE phone into another ACTIVE phone. You can't do it yourself, so you'll need a rep to do it. It's more risky than activating an inactive phone with a transfer from an active phone because:
* Some reps don't know how to do it, or say it can't be done.
* Let's say you want to merge/combine the remaining days/units on phone A into phone B, but keep the current phone number of phone B. Some reps can mess up by:
- Moving the phone number of phone A to phone B and you lose the phone number of phone B.
- Move phone number, days/units from phone A to phone B and WIPE OUT the current phone number, days/units of phone B.

I've been using TF since 2001 and I avoid merging/combining.
Reps to you. Much obliged for you also going the extra mile!
.woot
less risky way of activating an inactive phone with a transfer from an active phone...
This sounds good. Is this method also dependent on CSRs to perform, or how to do myself?
Self service is best, when available.
