I have the fitness reality rack, i can answer this.
The balancefrom lat pulldown rack attachment WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT SOME MODIFICATIONS. Simple due to how the balancefrom one attaches to the rack, it is different. The bottom crossmember on the fitness reality does not have the same holes to secure. Sure you can make it work, but you will need to drill your own holes. Not even sure about the height either but you can always use some blocks if its too short, cut the tube down if its too tall, etc..
If you have the fitness reality rack, you want the ProGear rack attachment. Right now its $$, but I bought it in February for $100, and it does go on sale so I would wait for that. It attaches directly to the fitness reality rack seamlessly.
Always a pain ordering stuff like this from Walmart...
I wish they packaged heavy items like this as if they're shipping it via the cheapest shipping possible, because they are - and the majority of the time, heavy items like this show up falling out of the box and significantly damaged...
I'm currently trying to orchestrate a return/exchange for one delivered last week because the metal beam is damaged so badly the metal is actually ripped (yes, tore like paper - literally separated).
I've had a $300 Rep Fitness attachment on my watch list for a while. I would love for this to work instead and wouldn't mind drilling holes but I have a strong feeling the top bar wouldn't have enough clearance to sit on top of top bar on the PR-1100 cage. It sucks these are all generally so proprietary for cages.
Ordered one. I have 1" hubs on my weight plates...no specs said whether this accepts those, but one image showed bumper plates mounted. I believe those are only available in 2" Olympic hubs. I will research an adapter or invest in new plates for this.

I gotta stare at this for a while and see if there is a way to finagle an install on my fitness reality rack.
I've used a lot of gym equipment. An I can tell ya most of it is shaped different. You are gonna wanna find exact measurements. Not just diameter an length but hole position. An the hole placement is probably UNLISTED.
So being a shopping veteran of so many decades; I'd like to tell you don't waste your time. Propritery crap is one of these corporations greatest money makers
anyone know if you can make this shorter? like can you cut the post for lower ceilings / lower racks?

For Shorter Power Racks:
My experience may be different from yours since I have a different power rack (Titan T-2 Shorty 71" height). First I didn't realize the back bottom beam of my rack does not align with the top beam. So I had to attach it to the side of my power rack instead of the normal back. I also had to cut the lat pulldown metal rail to size since it was too tall for my shorty. Drill new holes for the rail top I cut and also for the side rack beams that did not have the necessary holes for the bolt attachments. Almost forgot I had to adjust the cable length by shortening the bottom cable and using some thimble and cable clamps I had around.
For Taller Power Racks:
If your rack is too tall for the steel rail you can get a metal tube from any home improvement store to extend the top of the rail. There are many ways to fix it on. Not hard or Too expensive. Don't forget you may have to get a longer cable too. The top quarter length of the rail will most likely not be used by the roller during a normal workout. You do not need to worry about the roller not working on the extended rail on top for the most part if you use the pulley system inside the rack. If you for some reason pull the cable outside of the rack then the roller will reach higher, but please note the way the pulley system is setup the cable may hit the pulley (the moving double pulley) when pulled too far.
Of note do not use your normal drill bits (usually for wood) to drill metal or they will dull really quickly and will take forever to drill though if at all. Go get Cobalt M42 Metal Drill Bits made for drilling through hard metal. Good investment for drilling into metal.
Also I notice this lat pull down did not have a stopper for the Roller/weights. If you are not sure what I am talking about it is similar to a wall rubber door stopper that protects your wall from the door hitting it. It hits the soft cushion rubber stopper instead. In this case you want to protect the roller that slides up and down with the weight from hitting the metal bottom base. I believe it was originally meant to be held up in constant tension from the cable itself. But since I had to adjust the cable anyway and don't like the setup of the cable in constant tension to hold up the roller I added a stopper for it to rest on. I cut to fit 2x4 and glued neoprene rubber on top to cushion the impact. I also had to Duck tape it around the Lat base or it will hang onto the roller when going up slightly then drop down. This works, but you need to make sure to not drop the roller with heavy weight down hard or something will break eventually. Control eccentric to grow muscle and increase the longevity of your equipment's.
Hope this information helps.

was it hard to cut the tube? wondering how thick it is and if i can use a circular saw or if i need to go to a metal shop

I used an angle grinder and a cutting wheel to easily cut the top off the metal rail. I would not use a circular saw for cutting metal here. If you do not have an angle grinder a reciprocating saw with metal cutting blade would work well here too. Those are the best two options, but other option that are not as optimal that may work would be the multi-oscillating tool or a regular hand metal cutting saw.
It was not a hard project to custom fit this pulley system to my short power rack. Just think it through and plan on how to do it and how it fits before actually doing any cutting. Of note the drilling holes in metal for the bolts will be real tough and time consuming if you do not have the proper metal drill bits I mention earlier.

The 2" sleeves are held in with a set screw. Loosen and slide them off, 1" works. I set mine up a couple of weeks ago.
It let's me add it to the cart however when I go to checkout it shows unavailable.
Same here but kept trying and then at night it finally added. Got the rack and pulldown for $200.09 free shipping. Be careful their shipping dates are messed up...got the rack 5 days early at 7:30am this morning???
