Unreal they are still able to sell these with no repercussions,
But I haven't researched the possible issues mentioned above.
Intel released a patch for motherboard manufacturers to make a BIOS patch from that ALLEGEDLY fixes the 13th/14th Gen bugs. I believe this computer uses the same motherboard as the computer I already bought, which already has a BIOS patch available. Patch it as soon as you get it and supposedly it should be dandy.
New processors are coming out this fall from what I hear so if you're more concerned with keeping up with the Jones's son, maybe wait until then.

It's clear that there's large amount of failures with irreversible damage on those chips, but it isn't clear if the "fix" would actually prevent the failure in long-term fashion.
It's already reported that even business/commercial use of those CPUs, i.e. stock settings with good cooling and no overclock, has still those high rate of failures, so it seems under-volt is merely a temp workaround without fixing the actual problem.
