I've had so many problems with these batteries. I had 2 unopened packs from black friday, and years within the use by date, and they exploded inside before they were even opened. They were also stored in a cool dark cabinet inside of my house. I've had them also explode inside of equipment and ruin them. I tried to warranty the batteries, but their request were ridiculous that I just gave up. But this is a common issue with all new style batteries. I've also had duracell do the exact same. I will probably stick with energizer, they seem to last and not explode as often.

Not buying this brand again. I bought a bunch during one of the previous deals and had about 10 of them already leak or stop working in different devices within the span of 2 years. Not sure what other brand to buy, but staying away from this one.

Thanks for posting. I'm showing a total of $15.38 at checkout for the 60 pack of AAs after S&S and the coupon, great deal.

What about their Fusion battery? It has the same coupon, probably a one-time use. Worth the extra money?

This is a good deal. I haven't used the Rayovac Alkaline batteries but the non-alkaline version never leaked for me.

What is the difference between the alkaline and the "high energy"?

They are on the same listing so I assume they are the same actual battery?

Ditto. Many, many leaked. Spent too much time opening up electronics cleaning out goop.

I've had these leak in quite a few devices....but honestly Duracell and Energizers can also leak.

This is in part what drove me to ditch alkalines and invest in Eneloop (NiMH) rechargeable batteries. I've not had one of those leak yet.

Of the major consumer varieties, energizer alkaline is least likely to leak. I stay away from all others, especially rayovac and duracell (all flavors).
I go through many batteries very quickly. My recommendation for everyday use is Eneloop rechargeable for toys & remotes. My camera flashes, electronics, and other higher drain devices get Energizer Ultimate Lithiums. They are expensive, but their performance is VERY impressive and NEVER leaked on me. Last I checked, they are regularly cheapest at BJs wholesale club (occasionally a coupon is available).
