Yep, Rayovac batteries are the only ones i have bought that have consistently leaked. These are terrible.

Yes, the new one are made by Duracell and leak even in storage.

Would never buy these again as some AAs starting leaking into the box after two years, contaminating the rest of the batteries in the box with acid. Absolute garbage imho.

Just get rechargeables. They've been a thing for 30+ years.
The idea of throwing batteries in the trash boggles my mind now.

there's a few rare situations like 9v for an active bass where rechargeables don't make as much sense. Some devices like my thermostat don't do well with aa/aaa rechargeables either (reads them as low battery), but in general I agree.

These are awful. I knew they would be, but figured i could use them in throwaway devices like windowsill candles around the holidays. The variance in capacity among the batteries in the box is hilarious (most of them are terrible), and of course a significant portion of them end up leaking.

These nearly destroyed a few of my controllers and remotes. I literally tossed out 3-4 unopened packs of this size due to leaking. I will gladly wait for sales on other brands over these things.
