Guaranteed to leak. Buy at your own risk.

Been there, done that. Never again.

These are the worst batteries I've ever used in my life, I had to change them every 2 weeks and barely used them.

These batteries nearly destroyed several expensive items of mine due to leakage. I tossed out at least three unopened packs this size plus most of another due to the leakage issue.

Not worth it. I have had so many leaks with these. This included batteries that were regularly used, idle, or sitting in the package. Even replacement packages paid by Rayovac leaked. All were stored at room temp. The only common theme was to expect leaks. Not worth it.

I'll add mine to the chorus and say that I've purchased 6 or 7 of these rayovac packs over the years and only had a leak in like 2 or 3 instances. Really pretty good so this is a buy for me

The aggressively negative posts here are shocking to me. I bought these big packs at HD every Black Friday and always commented on how I never had a leak. I'm guessing the quality went downhill. From my experience, Duracell's are the only brand I refuse to buy, because they are 100% GUARANTEED to leak, it's just a matter of time. That's sad, as they used to be king of the hill for decades.

I have tried couple of times from HD and they all leaked, both AA and AAA. I went with Duracell from Costco and boy they leaked as well, haven't had a leak with Kirkland ones though, so far.

This might be of help to some folks with battery leakage:

"The key is to replace all your batteries at the same time in the same battery powered unit. Never mix zinc-oxide batteries with alkaline batteries or a potential disaster is bound to eventually happen. Be aware that weaker older batteries left in the unit can also result in premature leakage when you add newer batteries among them by adversely weakening the polarity of all the batteries in that current device they're installed. A leakage with all new batteries installed unless exposed to the elements of weather is highly irregular with most any devices in use when the batteries themselves are installed properly."

Thanks for the post, but that doesn't help when many of them leak in the unopened retail package sitting on the shelf. At that point it's just a matter of time until when they unknowingly are leaking in the closed up device that they have properly been placed in.

Rayovacs destroyed several items of mine and I'll never take the chance with them again. It's exactly like playing Russian roulette with your devices. You shouldn't have to check them almost daily to see if the batteries are leaking inside them.
