Isn't there a way to blacklist scam sites like this. Their reviews and ratings leave little room for misinterpretation.
I've ordered numerous times, no problems 🤷 ♂️

I ordered a bunch of discounted water bottles from them about a year ago. They came quickly and were as expected - no issues.

Code does not work for the Debris or Drivetrain for anyone wondering, of course they already have free shipping being over $25 also. Method was $17.76 without free shipping on the recent sale btw.

You mean for SD to block posts? They already block a lot of Amazon sellers for not having something like 750 lifetime reviews but nothing against specific merchant sites as far as I know. I also wonder if they have a policy for Walmart marketplace sellers or any other marketplace sellers.

Field Supply is a very legit site. Plus, it's in Slickdeals best interest to keep its members happy and weed out actual scam sellers. Yes, part of Slickdeals business model to partner with some retailers so they can pay employees and keep the lights on around here. Nobody works for free, do you? But they don't partner with scam sites to rip their members off. It would be committing business suicide to not take care of their members and make sure the deals on here are real. They make money by saving us money.

Saw the same. Using the coupon code gave free shipping so the price was slightly cheaper using the code.

Got mine, this thing is really light - seems like it should be lighter than 2.2oz.

8Cr13MoV offers a lot of bang for the buck, and Kershaw gives it a pretty competent heat treatments. You just have to make sure you don't overpay for it. I've got a bunch of Kershaws in this steel and they all do a good job for the money I spent.

Spyderco does about the best heat treatment on 8Cr13MoV in the business, and they use it in their Tenacious, Resilience, Byrd line and other knives in the $50+ range. It really is a great, budget steel that gives a lot of performance for the money.

And, as always, you can spend more if you want more, but the steel ain't crap if it gets a competent heat treatment.

I think you are being a little hard on Kershaw's 8Cr13MoV. I have cheap knives with absolute crap steel and I have much more expensive knives with better steel. I own a Kershaw Asset with this steel and a very similar blade shape. I have used it much more than any knife I own. It is very sharp, durable, resists rust, and sharpens up well. I think I paid around $12 for my Asset about 13 years ago and it still serves me very well. It's not a designer, status symbol, or elite EDC knife with the highest technology steel. I'm not too sure how many people actually need those things or even want them, but there are way better knives for that. If somebody just needs a reliable knife to cut things and they don't want to spend too much money, I think a Kershaw with 8Cr13MoV is a GREAT value. I bought mine as a beater knife and it has been fantastic.
