When will people stop saying this comment. I use 34gb and it's definitely enough. Not everyone's a photo hoarder.

You don't see me telling people they're idiots for buying a Buick do you? No I keep it to myself and live and let live.

I don't hoard photos (only have 10 now). Over time, updates and even a few apps will take it all up.

64GB is doable if you aren't taking videos, and not a ton of photos. it's the same amount the iPhone SE (3rd gen) comes with. my concern would be that the iPhone 11 is probably going to stop receiving updates at the end next year.

I would wait until next month, when the latest models will be announced. if you just can't wait, then I'd probably look for a similar deal for an iPhone 12.

also note, late last year the iPhone SE (3rd Gen) was $50 at Walmart, with only a two-month commitment. it was $50 for at least two months straight as well. it has an A15 chip and 5G cellular (iPhone 11 has A13 and 4G), and also you know it has a new battery, vs a refurbished 11.

It's almost like some people have different needs than you. Like my senior citizen mom is fine with 64 GB but I like to have every episode of mad Men and The sopranos in South Park on my phone. If the storage is there I will use it. If it's not I'll make do but 64 basically gives you enough for like 10 apps And maybe 5 or 10 GB of video.

It totally depends. Like you got to recognize half of its going to the system storage so it's more like 32. Someone like my mom who's never downloaded an app and her life will probably never use the storage. She's streaming all the music she listens to other than a few dozen songs.

But me I download dozens and dozens of apps and thousands of songs and movies and so on for my phone.

But I'm used to being on Android and a lot of my phones still have SD cards support so it's a huge luxury it just put entire seasons of South Park or The sopranos on my SD card.

But just practically speaking I have 128 gigs in my Pixel 6 Pro which I used is my main phone for a couple years and I was constantly having to delete stuff.

I would want 256 GB at a minimum. But I recognize I'm not everybody.

It's fine for me, but it would definitely be sucked up quickly if you store a lot of vids or add bigger games. My iPhone SE3 has 64 gigs. I just checked and I have about 6,000 photos on it and 121 apps loaded (nothing fancy … basic stuff like Google Maps/Translate/Photos/Voice and a whole bunch of fast food/rewards apps and everyday utilities like Chrome/Edge, etc.) Right now, I have 7 Gigs free, so I don't have much extra room, but I'm still fine for a while and I haven't needed to start cleaning up unused apps or anything yet. And my pics are taking up about 20 Gigs, so I could offload more of those if needed at some point. I tend to use my iPad or laptop for anything very demanding.

Yes, you only need to pay for the one month of service … but the unlock happens 60 days after activation.

jebus, 6k of photos and 121 apps? Do you work? Ha, that's a crazy amount of both.

Hehe, whenever I get a new iPhone, I usually do an iTunes backup and then restore to my new phone so that I keep all my old stuff so that I don't have to set everything up again. And the only time I ever really go back and remove things is if I need more space, so a bunch of old stuff ends up hanging around. There are years worth of pics that I should probably offload, but just haven't felt the need. And I don't necessarily use the apps all the time, but I'll occasionally use a bunch of them. Probably 20 or 30 are restaurant apps that occasionally offer rewards deals. Several are various investment apps in case I want to check a stock or make a trade away from my computer. And then some "neato" apps like StarWalk and the Seek animal identifier that are just kind of cool to have once in a while. But yeah … I'd probably just have twice as much junk if I had twice as much memory. Smilie

Yeah, I like Google photos for automatically backing mine up too, but I just haven't offloaded them from the phone recently. Last time I did it was when I only had a 32 Gig phone and I needed to clean things up a lot more frequently.
