Nah, it was always about conservatives/Republicans. Primarily the rich & powerful ones within corporate America, but the last few seasons started touching more on the average American conservative.

And no, I'm not getting political on Slickdeals. Simply an observation.

It was satire about conservatives from the start. They just started incorporating current events in later seasons.

Yep, people here saying that the show became "woke" are likely right-wingers who clearly didn't get the message that this show was anti-fascist and was making fun of right-wingers from the very start.

I believe the creators of the show even said that they started making the message more blatant because they were shocked at how little that their right-wing fans noticed that they were being made fun of

On Amazon all the shows are in 4k UHD. So paying for HD seems like a waste.

I finally stopped watching this season, but those first couple are amazing! Highly recommend. Maybe just treat it like Lost and not worry about making it to the end Smilie

Last season is garbage but Homelander's facial expressions makes it worth watching 😆

Maybe before they started injecting ads in their shows it would be, but I will not watch anything but live sporting events or the news with commercials anymore. The 00's called, they want their tech back...
I'm not suggesting you keep Amazon prime forever, but I'd still say it's worth it to put up with the commercials for one month to get all 4 seasons. Plus right now Prime is offering 3 months for $7.49/mo, so you could binge watch all 4 seasons for half the price of the 3 seasons with Fandango At Home. If you really don't want the commercials you can pay an extra $2.99 per month and do away with commercials.

I just finished seasons 1-3 and season 1 of Gen V and am excited to start season 4, but now I'm really bummed out by everyone's commentary on the latest season, lol.

This show follows the Cobra Kai model. Start off really strong, then just progressively become worse with each season, along with inserting unnecessary conflict between characters in order to stretch out the season.

Great series (as far as what's being done these days), And at first it was quite funny how they point out and poke fun the political hypocrisy of a certain party Stick Out Tongue But it's kinda gotten out of hand and even a bit cringy at times. Still totally worth the money if you don't have the service.

Without Karl Urban or Homelander this show is literally nothing.

Just Seth Rogan in a diaper clapping his hands and laughing at his own jokes.
