Anyhow, I was just at Staples yesterday dropping off my Epson printer for free e-waste recycling and after they verified my account took it off my hands for free and gave me 500 points in the account.
My Epson printers use tanks instead of cartridges (way cheaper). Makes me wonder if Staples sells the cartridges to 3rd party ink refillers or if they just want the foot traffic into the store.
On my computer screen there are two separate 500 points for 10 carts, offers, both expire 8-31
Anyone try to use them both yet ?

I have bought from them twice, and even though it says 450 cartridges, both times they sent closer to 600.
With tax, it comes out to around 17.5 cents per cartridge (assuming they do send 600)

The offers used to be much better, some months they'd run a special for $4 in rewards per cartridge. Sadly this $2.50 per cart offer is the best it gets for normal members now. At least the points don't expire as long as you stay "active" per their conditions, where before you had to spend them the next month.
The people who bring in 10-20 carts a month from ebay and hardly ever buy any ink keep forcing them down. I believe in the beginning it was $4 or $5 per cart and no limit on how many.

I did pay the yearly Plus membership, I get $2 each for 20 carts each month, paid out in about 2 minutes flat.
Each time I recycle battery or electrons item, I get $2.50, and get a coupon for 10 off $30 with an expire date at the end of 2024. I get the coupon each time, even if it is the second or third time that month turning in items.
No ink purchase is required, and as a bonus I return the ink I previously purchased, since their return policy says ink is fine until its expire date.
