Yes that goes for just about every protein powder on the market. This is one of the best though

People always say this flavor is very chemical tasting or just not very good, yet I ordered a 5lb tub last time and learned the hard way. Everyone's different, but it did become nasty tasting very quickly. It wasn't totally gross, but it also isn't enjoyable as some of the other less complex flavors are, such as chocolate. For those of you who have not tried this flavor, I would recommend only purchasing one through the deal, or maybe even trying a smaller tub. Mixes well though, has very tiny flecks of "pebbles" of all colors, smells great, but becomes overwhelming in that funky chemical taste quickly.

Have you tried a pure non-flavored high quality whey to rule out how the whey was processed or an allergy to chemicals or additives?
nope, i just switched to non-dairy protein powder and so far it's starting to calm down. but non-dairy PP is hella more expensive.

Disagree with the MyProtein comment. Salted caramel is top tier.
Completely agreed - Salted Caramel is the best tasting protein powder I've tried next to ON's Extreme Chocolate. If anyone can compare Dymatize flavors with those 2 that'd be helpful. People say Fruity/Cocoa Pebbles are good choices but not yet convinced.

This is a really good deal, This powder tastes amazing it's basically like vanilla in the sense you can pretty much use it for any base be it a creami, shake, pancakes, waffles, oats and build off from that.

But if you're only gonna use it for shakes then be sure you actually like the flavor I personally could go through 3 tubs of this easily i enjoy the flavor no flavor fatigue would hit me since I'd use to for a bunch of stuff. I have read that people get bored of this flavor fast though so just be sure you enjoy this flavor lol

Dang, looks like Cocoa Pebbles is back to 3for2, but it also looks like the 10% is over.

I love Fruity Pebbles. 6 oz of water + 1 scoop = taste like the leftover milk.

Still have most of my giant 5lbs of this left from the last deal, trying to find a good anabolic ice cream or creami recipe to use it in but no success so far. Anybody got a recommendation? I really want to like this protein it has potential

$9.66 per pound is a slick price for Dymatize which is considered one of the top brands of standard consumer grade whey.

High quality cold filtered whey powders such as native whey which is not a by-product of the cheese making process have a clean taste which does not need to be covered up with sweeteners artificial flavors and chemicals.

It is generally true that the highest quality products are offered in their natural state without any need to mask their true flavor.

YMMV but in all products I prefer unflavored for the ability to easily determine the grade and freshness.

People who want to reduce the consumption of added sugar for the health benefit it brings understand the need to avoid artificial sweetners to greatly reduce sugar addiction.

I can obtain any flavor I want in a smoothie by adding my own natural ingredients along with beneficial supplements. I use unflavored whey to protein-fortify just about any food hot or cold. No one claims that artificial chemicals benefit one's health.

What is the benefit of hydrolyzed compared to typical whey protein isolate? Is it worth the expense?
hydrolyzed whey protein is easier to break down in your body than whey isolate protein
