If I wear a men's 8.5, do I go 8 or 9?

They don't have a half a size up.

I size down generally but recently wore a pair that I purchased last year and they are snug. So the sizing is not consistent. I would recommend sizing up to be on the safe side.

FYI dont leave crocs out in the sun to dry, they shrink. It's why I have to buy a new pair now...
