That being said, if you are going to tie and forget, even cheaps are good.
If you need to tie and untie then yes, Velctro is the way to go. High quality.

You can also link multiple together if you need extra length, such as for tying cables up to your TV mount arm, and they will stay put, and they cinch down as tight as a zip tie without damaging your cords.
Velcro brand is the only brand of these I would ever buy.
I bought these, same brand, 100 count, all black for $6.09 back in August 2017.
These are 25 black, 25 gray for $3.77.
The 100 count lasted me 7 years (and I still didn't use them all), but I did pick these up since they are so useful, and hopefully I'm good for another 7 years until 2031.
